Small vase made from salvaged Black Wattle, includes glass tube
Approximately 170mm high x 70 wide
This vase has some lovely character from grubs, borers and natural splitting which is typical of Black Wattle wood, (grubs and borers not included :-) ) It has lovely colour variations throughout.
We salvaged this Black Wattle wood from a property in Central West NSW, around 4 hours drive from Western Sydney. Black Wattle typically has a life span of only 15 to 20 years and would have just been burnt in the paddock where it fell.
This vase would make a beautiful gift for those who appreciate the character and beauty of natural timber
