This vase character from grubs, borers and natural splitting which is typical of Black Wattle wood, (grubs and borers not included :-) ) This is what makes each piece truly unique.
We salvaged this Black Wattle wood from a property in Central West NSW, around 4 hours drive from Western Sydney. Black Wattle typically has a life span of only 15 to 20 years and would have just been burnt in the paddock where it fell.
This bud vase would make a beautiful gift for those who appreciate the character and beauty of natural timber
