Large fruit bowl made from salvaged Australian Ironbark with blue resin.
280mm diameter x 70mm high.
This beautiful piece has been made from a large Australian Ironbark tree which was removed to widen a local road. Rather than seeing this beautiful mature tree fed through a chipper or burnt, we salvaged what we could to create this bowl.
Whilst we made it as a fruit bowl, it could be used for many different purposes. It would make a beautiful wedding, house warming, engagement, birthday gift or just a lovely addition to your own home.

*Natural wood is hygroscopic which means it will always breathe and absorb moisture, how much depends on the humidity, temperature and timber species. As a result very fine cracks may appear and disappear as the item breathes. We take a lot of time stabilising the moisture content in the wood we use, however if the item cracks beyond normal limits please contact us to discuss.
